Originally studied printed textile design and fine print at Manchester Polytechnic and currently working mainly in mixed media, drawing and printmaking. Paintings, often in acrylic inks on a textured or collaged ground, are mainly developed from observational drawings or colour studies made on site. Themes include landscapes, natural forms, trees, rock pools and rock formations.
