Kingshill House

I studied art at A-level having always enjoyed drawing and painting. Life took over, marriage, children and work. It is only over the past 10 years or so that I have been able to find time to return to art. Moving back to this beautiful area reignited my love of the landscape and especially trees. Initially I worked in watercolour, but now work in inks, watercolour and acrylics. My landscapes are not realistic or photographic. I am guided by the way the media land on the paper and I then need to SEE the shapes. Landscape is then painted in. Consequently each picture takes a long time to complete.I studied art at A-level having always enjoyed drawing and painting. Life took over, marriage, children and work.
