I am a Gloucestershire based pet and equine portrait artist specialising in chalk pastel. I am based in the village of stone just outside of Berkeley and have a national and international client base. For the past 2 years I have been a full-time artist. Prior to that I ran my portrait business Signature Art by Rachael Kuczaj alongside my work as a Senior Designer for a local Architects in Tetbury. I create highly detailed and realistic portraits using chalk pastels, a medium I discovered and focused on starting at art GCSE and have passionately developed over the years. I have created a range of cards from my pastel drawings and acrylic paintings over the years and recently also started to develop a range of merchandise. Alongside my portraits I run some very poplar chalk pastel workshops in my local town of Berkeley and take great pride in being able to pass on my knowledge and skills, seeing my students create some incredible work they never imagined they could produce. I also run a monthly Junior Art club. I also hold regular Paint & Create events using acrylics on canvas at the Oak at Kingshill.
